Winter Sports

On-line registration for WHS Winter Sports is now open. Use the link below to sign up. Dr. Hackett will be in for physicals on 12/2/25 at 2pm in the athletic trainers office.

Winter Sports Tryouts Begin Monday December 1, 2025. Winter sports participation is required during December and February breaks.

To be eligible to participate you must

1. You must pass 4/5 major classes in order to participate
2. Be must be registered on Arbiter
3. You must be a good community member
4. You must have an updated physical on file with the NURSE'S OFFICE. You will not be allowed to tryout or continue playing a sport without an updated physical. Physicals will be considered expired on the thirteen-month anniversary of the physical exam date. Dr. Hackett will be available for sports physicals on Tue. Dec. 2, 2025 at 2:15PM.
5. You must be a registered student at Waltham/Valor High Schools.
6. Extra Curricular Emergency Medical Information Form for athletes with asthma, Epi-Pens, Seizures and/or Diabetes must be submitted- this will be emailed to families who require this additional form.
7. If you owe any part of a previous season's uniform or equipment, you will not be cleared to participate unless it is returned or paid for.
